Ridgeline Management Consultants has developed a unique approach to estimating and the planning processes for a project. The "Estimating 101" mini-course describes the estimating techniques that are the basis for this planning approach. This course takes the more accurate estimates and creates a complete planning process using the results of that estimating process.

These planning processes (and their relationship to the monitoring and control during the project execution) are a key to the success of projects where these techiques are used. Their primary benefit comes when used in high creativity, (i.e., "High Unknowns"), domains such as product and software development.

This course is normally presented as two to four sessions lasting two to three hours depending on the desired level of depth.
